In this series that we produced for Audible, Levi invites six guests into his kitchen to cook one of their favourite dishes and share stories of identity, culture, life and work. Together they’ll take you on a culinary journey from Grenada to Ukraine, via India and Ireland.
50 years after he left Jamaica for the UK, Levi is still able to summon happy memories of being raised by his grandmother when he cooks the recipes she taught him – Ackee and Saltfish, Brown Stew Chicken, Curry Goat – and Levi is fascinated to discover the flavours that evoke his guest’s fondest memories too.
