During an unsettling time, people are looking for a break from daily news briefings during COVID-19. The Gemma Collins Podcast is providing just that. With season 2 in full swing, our producer Lucy moved from recording with Gemma at her home to remote recording each episode, ensuring that her listeners didn’t miss any of the gossip, laughs or inner GC diva.
The podcast was recently included in ‘The Independent’s top 15 podcasts to listen to during self-isolation’. It has also been announced that the podcast had the largest proportion of under 35 listeners of all podcasts on BBC Sounds.
The podcast continues to be a success with season 3 going into production in June, so that her listeners don’t have to wait too long to hear more about hugging trees, spirituality and what The GC gets up to during lockdown.
