Listen have teamed up with audio entertainment platform, Podimo to produce and launch 5 x always-on, talent-driven entertainment podcasts.
This comes part of a move by Podimo to release 20+ podcasts in the UK in the next year.
The first Listen x Podimo show will be hosted by journalist, restaurant critic, and Masterchef judge Jimi Famurewa. Jimi will talk to some of the world’ most loved public figures from different backgrounds, who each have their own unique experiences and emotional responses to the question of Where’s Home Really?
Jimi asks each guest to reveal a person, a phrase, a place and a plate that best represent what home means to them – with fun, fascinating, and moving results to help us better understand ourselves, our neighbours and the modern world.
Founded in 2019, Podimo has become the fastest growing podcast subscription service in Europe, growing 5x Year-on-Year. The app is currently available in Denmark, Norway, Germany, Spain, The Netherlands, Finland, and across Latin America, and is expanding to more countries soon.
